Life imitates web

UI elements that make a good web experience are not necessarily exclusive to that medium. For example, I think that, just like when you add a comment to a weblog, you should be able to preview any voice message that you leave on someone’s phone before it gets saved permanently.

While it might be perfectly adequate to blunder around in a voice message in the same manner as the one character Hugh Grant has played in all of his films, some of us just don’t have the English accent to pull it off.

Hahaha, I like it :) I hate leaving voice messages, it’s so permanent. I’ll usually just keep ringing til I can speak to an actual person – I might still blunder, but at least they can’t listen to it over again.

Also – wow, you guys drink a LOT of Nudies and Emma&Tom’s!!

That, Sir, may be the best blog entry ever written. Funny, and true!

I’m not sure that Hugh Grant pulls it off either … why are we always at our worst when being recorded? Maybe it’s a natural discomfort in thinking that we will have to hear it again ourselves …

Lauren: Yes we like our fruit juice. It’s good for the soul. We get nude at least once a day.

Håkan: Thanks, that’s the best comment I’ve received on my site so far! :)

Ric: Probably best then not to think too much about how most of our life gets recorded somewhere.
