Steamrollin'!

Last Saturday I picked up my new bike. I’ll go into more detail about it on the weekend when I have some time to take a few photos, but let me just say that riding a fixed gear bike is a totally rewarding experience.
I got home from work today while there was still enough light for a quick ride. I went along the gently undulating Brown Hill Creek Rd. Staying in the saddle and powering up the hills, knowing that the machine below me was not moving a single inch without my legs spinning also, I felt like I was hauling ass. And it felt good.
Going down the hills still scares me, though.
